The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

I really liked The Hunger Games because even do its not my time I liked the main idea. It makes you realize things about the feature you hadn't before. I also liked it because the author uses great writing. I would recommend this book to others because The Hunger Games is more than what's seen in the cover. The Hunger Games is a story of mystery, suspense, and action. After the destruction of a place once known as North America, lies the Nation of Panem. Panem is made up of 12 districts -once 13- and a capitol, who are cruel rich people. The capitol creates/held and annual event called the Hunger Games. They force kids to participate in the Hunger Games, and in order to live they have to fight to death while they are been watched live on TV. There is a legend that explains the Hunger Games. At the reaping-the ceremony and election before the Hunger Games- 1 boy and 1 girl from each district gets picked to participate in the Hunger Game at the reaping. Katniss a sixteen year old steps up in place of her sister.  I wonder why did she do it? Will she survive? Especially with those mean people from the capitol you have to do everything they say. But before Katniss discovers her future she has to go to training. As she enters the Hunger Games she realizes its not as easy as it seems. She will meet Peeta, a boy who could be good or bad? But worst of all will Katniss survive and get to see her family, or even worst, will she be brave enough to kill?

Empty by Suzanne Weyn

The book Empty make you think about society today and gives you some thought provoking questions in which makes you think what you're doing in life is worth it or not. I am personal fan of post-apocalyptic books. So this book was practically made for me. The story begins with a little bit of romance, as a schoolgirl crush develops. Soon enough the madness begins. When oil and gas runs out, you’d think we would go electrical or solar powered or something. But ironically all these different types of power supplies need oil to start up! Anyway it’s up to a group of teenagers to save the human race, or DIE trying.

I honestly love this series. The series is well written and a good way to get involved with a book series that will keep you busy reading for a while. This story is about life in what seems like a future reference but could take place in the present day. He's never been able to go outside since they cut down the forest in his backyard.

Divergent by Veronica Roth

You might have heard about this book, or have seen the movie. You might know the main character by heart. You may say your Dauntless, Erudite, Candor, Amity, or just Abnegation. That's right I'm talking about a bestseller called Divergent. Divergent is book that makes you want to cry, laugh, gasp, or just have you speechless. Maybe all these feelings at once. It's a wonderful and enchanting series that will have you begging for more. Thank goodness it's more than one book. Actually it's a series.

I recommend this book to specifically 3 types of people. I recommend this to Dauntless people, people who like action and gore and fun. I recommend this to Candor people, people who honestly just want a really good book. The last type of person I would recommend this to is Abnegation people, people who will give up the book when they are finished reading so they can give it to their friends!

I think the book is WAY better than the movie because the book gives so much technicality and details. I think that this book is definitely a page turner and that you will fall in love with it. If you just try it I KNOW you will like it. So join in. Become Dauntless, Amity, Candor, Erudite, or Abnegation. You won’t regret reading the book.

Insurgent by Veronica Roth

The second book in the series is set a few hours after the first. After the attacks around the city. Tris is faced with a horrible war. She must find out who are her allies and enemies. How will she stop the war and get the truth of whats outside the fence. Faced with the loss of her friends and families she must fight for what is left. Full of adventure, mystery and betrayal. Really great addition to Divergent. I recommend this book to people who liked Divergent and are fans of Sci-Fi books.
