Sisters by Raina Telgemeier

The book Sisters is about 2 sisters that don't really get along and they have to go on a trip for one week and they can't even get along in dinner how are they going to survive in one week. When they are packing up the dad was nervous because it was their first time going without him. When they are on their way a storm begins and they have to stop and rent a room. I think this book is fun because they have to go thru a lot together. I would recommend this book because it's funny and because you can enjoy it.

Anya's Ghost by Vera Brosgol

Anya's Ghost is a good book. I love it -There is a girl name Anya and she is going to her new school in Russia. She likes this boy, but the boy has a girlfriend. She thought the boy was waving to her, but he was not and she was shy. The boy was waving to his girlfriend and a nerd was waving to her! She has a friend that is a boy and he says that she is his girlfriend, but she is not. She hates it! She gets mad at him so she went to the park that no one goes to. She was mad that people were telling her what to do and say. Anya was not watching where she was going and she fell in a big hole when she was walking. There she meets a friend (a ghost friend)! Read the book to learn more.

This book was SUPER CRAZY COOL! It's funny how hector tried to make the school a better place but all that comes out is "..uh...." though Milmoe has better things to do then almost all tech items are missing, Who do you think it was and will it be the 1# video game villain yet?! When I saw the picture cover no way can I resist and I'm proud to read that book it's so cool!

Sisters by Raina Telgemeier

I think this is a good book for someone that hates their annoying older or younger siblings. In “Sisters,” the latest graphic memoir by Raina Telgemeier, it is the summer before high school and Raina is stuck between a squirrely little brother and a volatile younger sister in a van without air conditioning.  I think this book is very funny and shocking. I recommend this book to you and this book is also in a series Smile/Sisters/Drama.

The Complete Maus by Art Spiegelman

If you love reading about world wars then here is a book about that, this book is how they treated people during the world war 2 when Hitler was a bad dictator, this book has animals instead of humans, the cats are the Nazi's the mice are the Jews and the pigs are the soldiers. I recommend this book to people that are interested to read a book that just tells you how they lived thru the holocaust and how the gas chambers looked liked this is a graphic novel it haves both of the books in one volume, part 1 and 2.

El Deafo by Cece Bell

I read the book El Deafo. It is about a real story that happened to the author Cece Bell. It is about a young girl who gets meningitis. She soon is unable to hear. This book takes place in the 70's so science is not as advanced as now so she has to wear BIG hearing aids. Her journey is rough but she lives through it. Halfway through the book Cece came up with a nickname for herself named El Deafo. I liked this book because it is one of my favorite kind of books, a comic book! The author from Wonder, R. J. Palacio said "I love El Deafo! It's everything you could want in a book: funny and touching and oh so smart."

Sisters by Raina Telgemeir

Sisters by Raina Telgemeir is about a girl called Raina, her sister Amara, and their little brother. They are going to a family meeting at their cousins’ house. There are three of them, Josh, Jeremy, and Lindsay. They thought very differently from Raina since they were already adults at age 20 to 30, while Raina is still 14.

[SPOILER ALERT]
They stayed there for a week. Later on during the trip, the car broke down. Raina’s mom went with their little brother to get a tow truck while Raina and Amara stayed inside the truck. Then, all of a sudden, they found a snake! Amara grabbed it. Later, their mom came back to them and they went home.

Diary Of a Wimpy Kid by Jeff Kinney

Diary Of a Wimpy Kid is a wonderful book. The main character is Greg; he’s entering middle school but he finds himself going through a lot of rough situations. Greg is having a rough time trying to fit in with all the other kids. He also has a hard time trying to meet girls. On the other hand, his friend Rowley is not really trying to bond with other kids nor get to know any girls, but it seems like he is doing a better job than Greg is and that’s him not even trying! I recommend you read this book because it’s really hilarious, but it also might tick you off because of the way Greg acts with his friend and other people. He can be kind of selfish!

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel by Jeff Kinney

The book I read is Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel by Jeff Kinney. Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel is fiction. I liked this book because it was funny and had some adventure with it. The theme of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel is that its better to be alone than to be with people you don't want to be with. The issue in Diary Of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel is that Greg doesn't have a date to the Valentine's dance and doesn't know what to do. I recommend this book to girls and boys grades 4-6 who like adventure and laughter.
