Matched by Ally Condie

Matched takes place in a society that you can not think for your self. The government picks who you love and when you die. Cassia, the main character, got matched with a boy named Xander. She loved it being matched with Xander, since she will be able to spend the rest of her life with him until she dies. 

Everything changes when a mysterious boy named Ky comes into play. She and Ky became best friends as soon as they met. That is when Cassia realized that she is in love with both Ky and Xander. The problem with that is that Ky is an aberration and if you are an aberration you can't get matched with anyone. 

What is an aberration? It is when you or someone in your family does something bad and you can't get matched with anyone. Even when she knows that Ky is an aberration she is in love with him. Who will she choose, Xander or Ky? 

I would rate this book an 8 out of 10. The genre of the book was romance and realistic fiction. I would recommend this book to someone who likes books with a lot of romance.

Unremembered by Jessica Brody is about a sixteen year old girl who somehow survives a plane crash and is floating among the wreckage of the plane but does not remember anything about her life before the crash. She does not remember her name or anyone she knew. This girl struggles to find her forgotten past and find who she really is. 

She is surprisingly a very intelligent girl and some random people are always following her. Her only hope is a strange and mysterious boy who claims he knew her before the crash ever happened. Can she trust him or even anyone? Will she find out about her past or who she really is? How did she survive the crash? Read this book to find out. 

This book was great. It had some crazy plot twists and you always want to find out what will happen next. It also had a little bit of humor in it. Unremembered will hook you in and I recommend it to people who like mystery and some action.

This story takes place in the "perfect" society, or at least, the government Officials think so. Everything, from the person you marry to the time you die is determined for you, and citizens barely have control over their own lives. Cassia, the main character, gets matched to her best friend, Xander, so the two of them have to get married in the future. At first, Cassia is really excited about the match. Now she'll get to spend the rest of her life with the guy she loves! 

But as the story unfolds, Cassia learns that her love for Xander isn't anything romantic. The two are the best of friends and would do anything to help the other, but Cassia realizes that she's falling in love with someone else: a boy from her village named Ky. The problem, though, is that Ky is an Aberration, so he is not allowed to be matched or married to anyone. (An Aberration is someone who has done something wrong, or in Ky's case, his parent did something wrong.) 

Now Cassia has to choose: will she follow the rules and be with Xander? Or will she rebel and find Ky, who she is really in love with? I really liked this book, it was very romantic and entertaining. I recommend this book to people who like stories that are dramatic, romantic, and heartwarming. This book is the first book in a trilogy. I haven't read the other two books yet, but I plan to at some point because this was a very good book. I hope you like it as much as I did!

The book is about two kids named Sadie and Carter and they live in separate houses and then one day they meet again and then they go to a museum and their dad dies also then they go live with there uncles and they can not believe that they are magicians and that there family has magic.

In the society, you don't have a choice. The officials decide who you love, what you do, where you work, and when you die. Cassia gets Matched with her best friend, Xander, which is an event that does not occur very often. When she opens Xander's micro card, she doesn't see his face. She knows this person, and might now love him more than she did before. 

Will Cassia live her life lying to Xander, or will she go out and find this person? I recommend this book to people who like adventure, drama, and mystery. This book was filled with so many great literary terms. The author explained it so well that you could imagine the events happening. It as well shows us that it's not always easy to make choices, especially if they are life changing. This book was hard to put down.

The Sword of Summer by Rick Riodan (Magnus Chase and the Gods of Asgard - Book 1)

Magnus Chase is a 16 year old boy who was made homeless at a young age after his apartment blew up and his mom was killed by wolves. He has been living on the streets of Boston with his other friends Blitz and Hearth who are a bit strange. When he learns that his uncle and cousin Annabeth are looking for him he goes on high alert. When he tries to loot his uncle's house he is confronted by him. His uncle is rambling about the gods of Asgard and Magnus's fate. 

[SPOILER ALERT!] 

He curiously goes with his uncle but when driving with him they are stopped by a fire giant who is terrorizing civilians. Magnus gets his sword he summoned from a river and fights the giant cutting off his nose in the process. He temporarily banishes the giant to another world but something bizarre happens to Magnus and finds out who his friends really are, and what is happening in the nine worlds.

The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancy

In the book The Infinite Sea by Rick Yancey, Cassie, Ben, Teacup, Ringer, and Pound Cake. Have a goal to try to stop the aliens. The aliens have many plans to stop them like sending assassins and even CHILD BOMBS!!! As the group of kids try to get away they have various plans to stop the aliens and stay safe. In my opinion this is an amazing book and will keep you at the edge of your seat. SO go to your local libary and check out the Infinite Sea. But remember read book one, The 5th Wave first.

Unremembered by Jessica Brody

During the course of this year, I read a book called Unremembered by Jessica Brody. In the beginning of the story, a girl, supposedly named Violet had been found drifting in the Pacific Ocean, where a plane had crashed. When she was found, she was taken to the hospital right away. Everybody thought that she’d been on that plane. But how come she had been the only survivor, with no injuries whatsoever, except that she had lost all her memory and now has amnesia. Violet doesn’t know her name, so everybody calls her “Violet”, because she has purple eyes. 

She also doesn’t know her age, but she was tested and the doctors have proved that she is a 16 year old teenage girl. She doesn’t know who her family is, doesn’t know where she’s from, and she practically doesn’t know anything about the world or herself, but she can speak all sorts of languages, knows how to solve really complicated math problems, and runs faster than… anything! 

While she was in the hospital, the doctors were trying to find out who her family was, but nobody claimed that they knew her. One of the nurses told Violet that some families came in and out saying that they knew her, but when they were interviewed they knew nothing about the LOCKET. So after a while she was sent to live with a foster family, Heather (mom), Scott (dad), and Cody (brother). Something strange that kept happening was that Violet kept seeing this unknown boy who claimed to know her. He started to tell her a lot of things that explained most of the things Violet was questioning. He told her things about the locket, Violet's real name, and he also said that they were in love. 

READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT! To conclude, I thought that this book was AMAZING. It was great. I loved the entire series! (Unremembered, Unforgotten, and Unchanged). I would totally recommend this book to anybody who likes a little bit of science fiction, mystery, and romance. Overall, I thought that this book was great and that anybody would enjoy it!

I recommend this wonderful book to those who like mysteries and drama. This book is heartwarming and is very sad by the events that occur. Personally, I couldn't put this book down because the author uses great words and I can imagine the events happening.

To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han

The book To All the Boys I've Loved Before is about a girl named Lara Jean. Lara Jean writes love letters to all the boys she "loved", and when she writes these letters, she doesn’t hold back anything. She pours her heart out to these letters. When she is done she puts the letter in a envelope writes the address and she puts the letters in a teal hatbox her mother gave her. She has wrote at least 5 letters. These letters are supposed to help her move on and not think about the boy she "loves". But somehow her letters got sent; and her whole world turned upside down. 

How does she explain to the boys about her letter? How does she fix this? Read this book if you want to find out. This book has a lot of drama, conflict with her family and her crushes. 

This book is also one of my top 10 young adult books. The book itself is kind of a cliche, predictable. I recommend this book to people who like developing romances, and drama. But I do have to warn you this book uses inappropriate language.

The Raft by S. A. Bodeen

The Raft is a very interesting book, it is the story of teenage girl named Robie who is trapped on a raft in the middle of nowhere. It starts out when the main character Robie flies back to her hometown on a cargo plane. The storms kick up and the winds get rough, the pilot cannot keep the plane in control. Boom! The plane crashes and sinks to the bottom of the ocean. Robie manages to survive, but she doesn't have many resources to do so for long. All she has is a raft, a bag that she manages to retrieve, a survival at sea study guide, and a small cup to bail water out of the raft. With low resources and very little courage, will Robie manage to survive? You will have to read The Raft to find out! 

My Thoughts: This book was outstanding! The story was so detailed and I could understand exactly what she was going through. Whenever I decided "Okay, I really need to put this book down." I pretty much always ended on a cliff hanger. The story had so much suspense and great quality. I would recommend this book to people who like a bit of mystery and realistic fiction. I would absolutely rate this book a five out five star rating.

Harry’s is the family restaurant and the family is often forced to advertise by their father. Fern was named after the girl from Charlotte’s Web. She was the savior, the helper, the heroine. Holden was named after the boy from Catcher in the Rye. Holden runs away a lot, their mother meditates a lot, their father works a lot and Sarah, their sister is often doing something else. That often leaves 3-year-old Charlie with a worker named Mona. What happened to make this story so tragic? I mean Fern only went outside to do her homework and Charlie comes with her. How can that do anyone harm?

This is a book of a girl named Caitiln. She has Asperger's syndrome and she feels dark inside. She needs help from her brother Devon to understand everything. But now that Devon died what would she do? What is she going to do when she does not understand something? One day she heard someone say the word "closure". She searched it up in her dictionary. She realized that not only her family needed closure but her whole community too. How would she do it? 

I recommend this book to everyone because it is different to the other books I have read. Even me that does not read books so often loves this book. I also know it is a good book because a teacher recommended to us.

Star Wars Jedi Academy by Jeffery Brown

My book Star Wars Jedi Academy was about a kid being ejected from a Flying simulator school and was forced to go to Jedi Academy. Roan has to deal with lots of bullies and has to make new friends. I liked this book because the author was very descriptive and he also is a very fantastic drawer. I would recommend this book to everyone because it's very descriptive and it's very good at describing the character traits of every single character. Jeffrey Brown is my favorite author and yes I would recommend this book to my friends and I have recommended this book to my friends.

The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie

This book is about an Indian boy named Arnold Spirit Jr. He was born with too much cerebral spinal fluid inside his skull. This caused him to have a big head. He also lost his vision and needed several surgeries. And he was poor.  He had to go to a different school so he wouldn't get beaten to death! So now he is trying to fit in to a nice school and be an average teenagers. And if you want to find out more please read The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian!

Rump is not a story but a tale of the life of a young boy who has the destiny to unlock everything in his world with Red, his friend, his only friend that is. A girl named Opal who joins the adventure in a lot of fun and weird ways although she is the daughter of the evil greedy Miller who is the servant of the king she still helps them to rebel against her father after what he does to her and his greedy ways and really big twist in the end that has everyone saying what? 

Read all the twists and turns that they go through learning to find out his name the way he finds out his name is a secret until you read until the very end.

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

The book Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick is such a wonderful book. It has all the components to making a memorable story. It has amazing characters such as Nora, who is so likable it's crazy! And crazy spins that will make you re-read a chapter to make sure it's correct. 

The book is about a girl named Nora who comes to find that her new lab partner is not what he seems. He may act all cocky and cool but that really isn't the truth it's just a cover up. And what's going on with all these accidents that seem to point to Nora? Is someone after her? Is someone trying to kill her? 

Join Nora to figure out who's doing this, and what does this person want. Check out this book if you love great twists and fantasy novels. But mostly a romantic book that brings both the dark and the light to create a middle ground that is likable by both sides.

I recommend this book to fairy tale lovers my reaction is heartwarming I think this book is a funny but still heartwarming tale on a wonderful story.
