Three Times Lucky by Sheila Turnage

In this book, a spunky, energetic girl named Mo decides to start a detective agency with her best friend, Dale, after a citizen in their small town is murdered. During their epic quest to find the killer, Mo must save her guardians, who have been kidnapped. Are Mo and Dale up for the task at hand? Read the book to find out!

I loved this book! There were lots of plot twists, cliffhangers, and false clues, which made the book so much more interesting to read. If you enjoy mystery stories, you'll love this one because it makes you think. I hope you like it!

The Battle of Ampere by Richard Paul Evans (Michael Vey Series, Book 3)

The Battle of Ampere is the third book in the Michael Vey series, and is my favorite so far. In this book, Michael, his girlfriend Taylor, and a few friends he picked up throughout the series, go on a mission to sink the super-yacht owned by a company called the Elgen, after just rescuing Michael's mother from the Elgen.

Earlier during the book, the Resistance (the group of people who help the main protagonists) got notice that Dr. Hatch (the main antagonist) has taken over the whole Elgen company. During the teens adventure to sink the ship, they are confronted and challenged many times by the Elgen, and the Peruvian army.

I don't want to spoil all the good stuff, so I think you should just go read it yourself. I recommend this book to anyone who loves action and adventure, with pinch of romance.

Attack of the Clones by Patricia C. Wrede (Star Wars Series, Book 2)

The book Attack of the Clones was about Anakin Skywalker watching Padme. He had to watch her to keep her safe from the assassins trying to kill her. Along the way they find different clues . While Anakin was watching Obi-Won was figuring out the clues. Anakin even tries to save his mom. There are a lot of sudden changes in the book and I would rate the book 9/10.

It's a very good short book to read that is 6th grade level. I thought that some of the parts were sad and some of the parts were funny. would recommend this book to any Star Wars fan and people who like space and adventure stories. The book is obviously realistic fiction. All in all I think this is a very good short book to read.

Matched by Ally Condie

Matched takes place in a society that you can not think for your self. The government picks who you love and when you die. Cassia, the main character, got matched with a boy named Xander. She loved it being matched with Xander, since she will be able to spend the rest of her life with him until she dies.

Everything changes when a mysterious boy named Ky comes into play. She and Ky became best friends as soon as they met. That is when Cassia realized that she is in love with both Ky and Xander. The problem with that is that Ky is an aberration and if you are an aberration you can't get matched with anyone.

What is an aberration? It is when you or someone in your family does something bad and you can't get matched with anyone. Even when she knows that Ky is an aberration she is in love with him. Who will she choose, Xander or Ky?

I would rate this book an 8 out of 10. The genre of the book was romance and realistic fiction. I would recommend this book to someone who likes books with a lot of romance.

The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians Series, Book 1)

This extremely awesome book is about twelve year old Percy Jackson whose father left him as a boy with his mother. Percy never really thought of his father much because his mom is with a smelly guy named Gabe. Percy is a troubled kid who has dyslexia and ADHD, and had gotten kicked out of many schools. He has thought his life was completely normal, but as you know in books it really isn't.

The mystery of Percy's father and his dyslexia and ADHD are all clues to something rare, special and life threatening.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

This book is about a girl named Katniss Everdeen. She spends most of her days out hunting in the woods for food for her family. She is very good with a bow and she pretty much never misses. Every year the capitol holds an annual hunger games in which one boy and one girl is chosen from each of twelve districts to fight in the hunger games.

In the hunger games all of the tributes have to fight to the death while also scavenging food and finding shelter. A boy named Peeta is the boy tribute from Katniss' district. Peeta has always liked Katniss but never wanted to tell her. There are twenty-four tributes in the hunger games but only one gets to leave alive.

If you want to find out more then you will have to read the book. I personally loved this book and I recommend it to anybody who likes the Divergent series. I also recommend it to anyone who likes action packed books. At times this book can be slow but there are some very action packed sections.

The Accidental Genius of Weasel High by Rick Detorie

Larkin may have a weird life but he still has his "buddies." His annoying sister Kelly always has to make things more difficult for Larkin! But things take a turn when Larkin finds out his "girlfriend" likes someone that is not him.

I thought that this book was very unique it's not like other books that have enormous turns in the story. It's simple and a really quick read! I would recommend this book! It's very simple for students to read. This book seems big and too hard but once you read it, you wish there was a second book.
