Cinder is about a 16 year old girl who is a cyborg and lives in the town of New Beijing. A deadly plague comes and people believe that the Lunars are doing it. Lunars live in a planet called Luna. They are ruled by Queen Lavana. Cinder's stepmother forces her to be a patient to find a cure to the plague. Cinder finds out Lavana is coming to New Beijing to marry Prince Kai.
