This quarter I read “Dork Diaries:Tales from a Not-So Graceful Ice Princess” by Rachel Renee Russell and the genre of this book is realistic fiction because the story can sometimes come to life. The book is about a girl name Nikki who is supposed to ice skate for a charity and there are a lot of problems in between and mostly all the problems are caused by her enemy Mackenzie who is very popular at school and messes around with Nikki to make her life as miserable as it can get. The theme of this book is to never give up because you can accomplish many things. I recommend this book to girls because it is a girly book and I recommend this book to girls ages 9-13 years of age.
