This book is about a college student named David who lives with a woman named Liz and her daughter, Lucy. Liz makes clay dragons that can come to life (but are very small). David is on a research trip in the Arctic and is writing a fictional story about bears. But it's not fictional for long because whatever David writes can become reality. Meanwhile, a bright star is almost at it's peak in the sky. When it reaches a certain point, a portal will form and legend says that real dragons (not Liz's clay dragons) will become alive again. But an evil enemy is trying to ruin everything. Will David be able to stop her?
I enjoyed this book, it was very exciting. I recommend this book to you if you like fantasy stories and adventure stories. Also, this book is the third in a series, so I recommend reading the other two books first.
