It's about a dog who got lost and he tried to find someone to help him which he had no luck and then this guy called master/professor took him and called him Hachiko in Chinese means the number 8 eight was professors lucky number that's why he called him that hachi did not know how to bark or throw a ball one day professor had to go to work and hachi sneaked out behind him and followed him to the train station and then hachi finally wanted to learn how to throw the ball and he did and professor left for his train and hachi stood there for hours waiting and

professor had a heart attack and hachi STILL waited for hours then it became days then weeks lastly months i recommend this book to be in our school library.
